Intro

Philadelphia had been a long time in the planning which started way back in 2017 but due to the excessive cost, it wasn't affordable to go then or even in 2018. This was primarily due to the filming of a Creed 2 which in turn entices more visitors, thus pushing up the price of hotel rooms to over £2,500 for 11 days and the cost of flights could vary from hour to hour by as much as £500 within a couple of hours.
Transport would be mainly by bus and at less than $25 for a 7 day or 56 trips pass it has to be one of the best value cities we have been to so far.
Something I have managed to finally get right I think is the layout of the blog which now serves as a template for all the others after. 

Blog creation 

In the intervening time, I have learnt some basic coding skills which help add graphics to the blog without creating something that takes forever to load, it's still a work in progress and I'm always tinkering with compressing the images down, embedding code and adding HTML links into the photos to make them clickable links, unfortunately, due to the way Blogger works CSS coding can be a bit tricky in the main posts but I think I've sorted how to embed maps that will scale to any browser width which stops it escaping outside the edge of the screen on mobile devices.

I really can't even contemplate how long I've spent on the design of this blog but it has taught me a lot over the past months so I started redesigning the older blogs, I've also started to use Grammarly as my typing and spelling is not the best, this is really a big help for me as its also a proofreader that works most of the time from within Chrome browser or you write directly into program then copy and paste it into the post.
